The 5th Annual Canadian Bitcoin Consortium Stampede Trade Mission brought together policymakers, regulators, financial institutions, and industry leaders from across the digital asset ecosystem for a week of meaningful conversations in Calgary. The event showcased Alberta’s growing reputation as a hub for digital asset infrastructure, energy innovation, and data centre development, fintech while creating opportunities for leaders to build relationships and explore investment and growth opportunities.

Throughout the week, attendees heard from influential voices across government and industry. A round table discussion led by Premier Danielle Smith. Keynotes from Alberta Finance Minister Jason Nixon, Parliamentary Secretary Chantelle de Jonge, and Member of Parliament Jasraj Singh Hallan focused on innovation, regulatory frameworks, and Canada’s potential to become a global leader in Bitcoin and stablecoin development. Discussions also explored important topics including digital asset lending, compliance-focused credit markets, AI infrastructure, energy, and the future of digital finance.

As the week wrapped up during Calgary Stampede, the Trade Mission demonstrated the power of bringing together public and private sector leaders to advance Canada’s digital asset industry.
